WELCOME TO

"DISCIPLING ON LINE!"

 thanksgiving

One of the most frustrated persons on earth must be the atheist who is thankful, but does not know whom to thank!

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday (as followers of the Lord Jesus), we have much to be thankful.  Just a few that should appear on our lists would be our salvation, wisdom given to us from the Father, answered prayers, victories, changed lives and hopefully new converts to disciple.

Paul encourages us in Ephesians 5:19,20 that we should make music to the Lord (as well as one another) in our hearts... giving thanks always for everything to God the Father.

Disciplining others as followers of Christ should be a natural outflow of all our love and gratitude in return to our Heavenly Father.  What He has done for us should so fill us with gratitude that we would in turn desire others to experience Christ's love and gift of salvation.

Thanksgiving is also a time to reflect upon harvests.  May our prayer be not only a prayer of gratitude, but a prayer to be ones that will have a bountiful harvest to present to the Lord Jesus Christ.  Let us give thanks for the privilege of being disciples and those we disciple for the Kingdom of God.
