Tom and Sharon Winkler have been "Hoosiers" all their lives.  Tom was born and raised in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Sharon has lived in several locations throughout the state being the daughter of a Free Methodist pastor ("PK").  They have two children and three grand children.

Sharon spent 25 years as secretary of Indianapolis Christian Fellowship and has since retired from that position in order to spend more time in the discipleship area (individual mentoring as well as discipling through small groups).  She is also in the process of writing discipleship study books (designed to be used as discipling tools in the lives of individuals and small groups).  She has lead a mom's group at their church ("Mom's Time Out") and now a women's group
(W.O.W. - "Women of Wisdom").

Along with individual mentoring, the Winkler's also hold two day weekend groups in their home (either Saturday/Sunday or Friday/Saturday).  Weekly groups are also available for those who cannot commit to two full days.  

The two day groups are designed to be times of becoming more fruitful in our spiritual walk by using the various John Bevere curriculum series.  The twelve sessions of these curriculums are covered in the two days (6 each day).  The group size is kept small (no more than 6 or 7 to a group) in order to provide a more comfortable setting for discussion and ministry.  This provides a further opportunity to grow in our relationship with Jesus as well as with one another (as we enjoy getting to know each other through these discussion times as well as fellowship around the meal time).



There are presently 6 series available for the two day groups.  They are as follows:

  UNDER COVER:  dealing with authority in our lives as God designed..God's kingdom is not a democracy!

  THE BAIT OF SATAN:  dealing with offenses in our life which is the bait Satan uses and ridding our lives of them and their affects upon our lives

 DRAWING NEAR:  developing an intimacy with the Holy Spirit

 A HEART ABLAZE:  having a passion for God and the sanctification and purifying of our lives ("washing your clothes")

 DRIVEN BY ETERNITY:  The Judgment Seat of Christ...you can be prepared for that day

 HONOR'S REWARD:  the importance of honoring others and who we are to honor..with each one and what we do or don't do will determine whether we receive a full reward, a partial reward or no reward

BREAKING INTIMIDATION:   Everyone has been intimidated at some point in life.  Do you really know why it happened or how to keep it from happening again?  This series helps us to understand the root of intimidation, challenges you to break its fearful grip, and teaches you to release God's gifts and establish His dominion in your life.  This series has eight 30 minute sessions (instead of 12 as the other series).

EXTRAORDINARY:  Isn't it true that we long to see the extraordinary, experience the extraordinary, do the extraordinary?  Yet, so often we settle for mediocrity when greatness is within our grasp.  In this series, John reveals how all of us were "meant for more," extraordinarily created and intended for a life that is anything but ordinary.  Isn't it time to pursue your extraordinary life?


Each of these groups are formed as requests come to the Winkler's and a group of 4-7 can be formed.
